Leo's head painted with Guido art

Leo and Rosalie spent Thursday and Friday last week out at E-Dayz-09. The two days were well organised and featured inspirational and entertaining key-note speakers and some amazing presenters.

Any speaker that brings crayons and chocolates to their session is off to a great start in my book.  Thanks, Nancy!

Leo’s presentations went down a treat.  The Mobile Learning session with Jim Plummer had a live broadcast from the mobile phone.  That’s all up on uStream now.

Leo’s Google Apps presentation, Riding a Google Wave, was packed to the rafters. You can find Leo’s slides on slideshare.

The presentation with Samantha Bywaters and Jim about A Fish Called Guido was very well received. However things really got interesting with Guido once we turned up to the Innovations Projects Showcase.

Samantha had organised a great display for Guido and, unexpectedly, a face painter.  Guido really did steal the show and, in some cases, took over the from the very top.

I know that I personally learned a huge amount and met some truly wonderful people.

Enough thanks to all involved can’t be given.  Fish and people alike.
